Park City, UT — December 11, 2025 — The Sundance Film Festival has officially selected TheyDream, the groundbreaking feature-length hybrid animated documentary from award-winning filmmaker William D. Caballero, to world premiere in the festival’s boldly innovative NEXT category. Supported by public media institutions including ITVS and Latino Public Broadcasting, the film merges live action, mixed-media animation, and vérité intimacy to examine how one Puerto Rican family confronts grief, memory, and healing through the act of creation.
